My apologies for the dearth of posts around here! I know you're all excited to hear about this supremely awesome scientific article I mentioned in the previous post--the one that wouldn't pair well with chocolate cake--but you'll just have to be patient. I'll get around to it eventually.
In the meantime, I wanted to let you know about a newly published series of articles I've written about plankton for ASU's Ask a Biologist website!!! The site is geared toward students and teachers (K-12), but you should still check it out even if you don't fit that bill.

The articles just went live a week or so ago, so please excuse the few typos we're still in the process of fixing. Stay tuned as well for a soon-to-be-live video about plankton, a zoom gallery (think virtual microscope), and French translations of the articles (si vous voulez les lire en Français)!
